Introduction
Oral Cavity. Examination of the oral cavity is carried out both before the removal of the tongue and pluck and after removal of the tongue and pluck, with splitting of the symphysis of the mandible, allowing butterflying of the oral cavity for close inspection of the mucosa, gums and teeth (figure 1).
