Introduction
Bovine pulmonary hypertension (BPH) is initiated by high pressure flow of blood in the pulmonary artery and is seen in conditions with increased resistance in the pulmonary vascular system (both arterial and venous). Pathology is characterised by muscular hypertrophy of pulmonary arterial vessels with perivascular fibrosis and arterial remodeling with luminal narrowing.
